Jordan DeChirico is a Communication Studies major. During her senior year of high school, she wasn’t sure what she wanted to do for a career. However, she knew she wanted to work in a field where she could be creative and dynamic. After months of thinking about different options, her mom planted the idea of Communication Studies in Jordan’s head. After doing more research about the program Jordan knew that was the right field of study for her. Jordan is also currently working towards a double minor in Media & Culture and Spanish.
Jordan’s Career Aspirations
After college, Jordan would love to move to California to pursue a career in the field of communications, specifically Public Relations or Event Planning. She has always be drawn towards PR, but after completing an event planning internship this past summer, Jordan has been intrigued with event planning/production. However, in the more distant future, Jordan’s dream is to open up a small health foods cafe (hopefully in California) with her sister. She even wants to write a health foods cookbook.
